Miner is producing more ore than it should

I placed the mine on an iron ore node and it produced over 1000 ore in about 10 seconds. Tested if it was a specific ore node so I placed another (different) miner on a quartz node and that also proceed around 100 ore per second. I don't think that's correct as the miner says 15 quartz per min.

It looks to me like it is producing the per minute amount every second instead of every minute -

BasklemI'm going to provide my input, I could be wrong but I think that 20 per minute / 15 per minute is listed in the output side of the machine, meaning the machine limits how much can be OUTPUT per minute. So, if it says 20 per minute, it will only allow 20 per minute out. This is my observation and thought process, it could be totally wrong though. I would definitely like a clear/definitive answer as a lot of people have brought this up. Regardless, it does seem like the machine fills up way too quickly, and that could be abused for sure.
