Fabricators not picking up items on belts

Im not 100% sure how I caused it, but it most likely had to do with there being not enough power for the fabricator to run coupled with me saving and quitting. After I logged back on I fixed the power issue, however, the fabricator would not pickup items from the belt even though it had enough power.

It fixed itself after I added items into the fabricator manually.
