when trying to make the wood roof gable cap 2m fit the right way on my roof i rotate it to fit, when it snaps it rotates on it own and i am now unable to rotate it again, this is before placing. i am able to rotate it when its not snapped.

It snaps into this position. And refuses to rotate any other way.

I had the same issue with the smaller version of that gable (where 3/4 edges are covered).

I was able to 'get around' the issue so to speak by removing any adjacent roof-tiles that did not 'contribute' to the gable, i.e. the corners but not the slanted roof pieces, and any roof tiles connected to a separate part of the roof but adjacent still. Then was able to place it the 'correct' direction, and place everything else back as needed.
