Unexpected materials in machines after log out/log in
https://crytivo.atlassian.net/browse/FF-4750
Build Version: v0.1.0-alpha.20005
• Description: Ive several resource automation. When I logged in last time I had mats backed up going into fabricators, because other random mats were on the rail even though there is no way they should be there. For example, my stone is mined then fabricated to brick, then splits to storage and to make cement. The queue to the cement fabricator stopped because there was copper in the machine, also cement already on rail - see screenshot1. Similar happened this login. A rail coming from fabricator making iron rods into storage, but yet there is glass, iron plate & copper ore on rail. This rail is direct from fabricator producing iron rods to the storage. No splitters. screenshot 2
• Reproduction Steps: log off/on
• Reproduction Rate: e.g., twice
• Expected Behavior: only produced mats should be on rail
• Attachments: screenshot 1 & 2

Ignir MergedI sometimes get random ores that appear on my production lines, and the same thing happens in my chests at the end of production; it's random. Sorry for the English.

Conrad MergedI have had this a few times now but I have very occasionally had the following items turn into something else:
iron ingots turn into iron rods
Copper ingots into cement
either cement or stone into bricks.
For reference each of my production belts are isolated from each other, so I have one separate line for every item starting with an automatic miner for each line. However, occasionally on a belt or (storage container at the end of the line) I have noticed rogue items (that I have not added) basically appear out of nowhere.
Is this like a memory overriding issue or something? -

Opa Admin MergedDoes this stop the production of the items that should get produced or is it just a visual thing?

Weggy Admin MergedI've had this happen several times in game as well. For whatever reason it always happens in winter though.

Cattibrie241 MergedI noticed my stone line was stalled, so went to check and there was copper coming out of the stone miner, making the whole line stall out. 1st Picture of the miner menu showing stone, 2nd of the line coming out from the miner showing copper ore. I disassembled the miner and connecting rails and replaced them all and it began working properly again.

RyGuyver MergedMy miners briefly started outputting the wrong resource, so everything has ground to a halt. In the attached image the miners are on a copper node, but there appears to be stone on the rails.

Sabandra MergedI have had many of my conveyors stop working as I've had items from different areas teleport to different conveyors. Like I've had Iron ingots teleport over to the conveyor coming from my quartz miner conveyor on it's way to the smelter, same with Concrete and my Copper conveyor. Don't have any pictures at this time as I had to delete the conveyor and reattach it to get it going again. Will make sure to get pictures next time

Reese (Shado on Disco) MergedStone miner just started outputting cement. Nabbed a screenshot but can't see a way to attach. Either way, others have done so.

ThoChi2607 MergedThe problem isn't limited to the Miner.
I think it's more related to a bug in the conveyor belt than the miner.
I had a case yesterday with a copper miner that started mining iron. A few days earlier, I had a similar problem with a Fabricator output where I had other resources, and it was categorically impossible for them to be on that production line. -

Zugai MergedI don't understand why this is marked as done. As of alpha 2005 it is still happening.
It seems to be a savegame issue, where the rails get confused about what items they should have loaded, completely stopping production in downstream processes without manual intervention. Replication 2/2, the more complex the automation system, the higher the risk of things swapping. in my case I had copper and iron production set up for wires/plates and screws/nails/plates with 1 and 3 miners respectively, as well one line for glass and one for bricks. -

Jeri MergedWhile creating a production line, I had iron ingot going into fabricators, one iron bars and another making screws. Instead of iron bars coming out of the one, copper was coming out instead.

Niki Rogalski MergedI have 3 smelters making iron ingots
Out of nowhere amongst the iron ingots, copper ore starts appearing on the rails (see screenshot) -

ASSASSINBETRAYER MergedUnsure how to replicate the cause.
Belts seem to freeze and not load into the machines.
Actions taken: I just linked the electricals for my separate production line and made a large grid. I then explored the map and walked far away from the production lines. Upon return(I had a day or two cycle as well as save and quit elsewhere on the map[season also had changed]), the lines were not operational due to items on the belt that dont match the input.
UPDATE 1:
It appears another resource appeared on the belt, which clogged the system. In this scenario, copper ingots/ores somehow appeared on the belt, stopping production(Further looking, looks like ore in general).
UPDATE 2:
Looks like the resource that matches the current production line(i.e., Copper products have a copper ore further in the conveyor line)
UPDATE 3:
Disregard update 2, my stone production line has wire on it. -
