Significant performance issues
The game does not run well on my PC at all. I consistently get around 5-25 fps. I typically get 5 fps during sunrise and sunset and when I load a save file. 25 fps is more consistent for me during my entire run unless I am loading in new areas.
As you can probably imagine playing with these frames are very tedious and annoying and are probably one of the most significant issues holding this game back.
My PC specs are significant and I should not be getting these frames with my build:
64 Gigabites of DDR4
3070TI GPU
I9 1200k CPU (12th gen)

GregSo I came here to report this and interestingly have pretty much identical specs. However I have found a fix/workaround - I added a profile to the nVidia drivers and forced fixed refresh rate. My primary monitor supports GSync and I suspect that was what was causing the issue - at least for me - I've got it @ 4K with medium settings and frame rate is perfectly playable now rather than the slideshow now that VRR/GSync is disabled.

Frost MergedSo, let me first iterate, i am on a 40 series card and i understand supposedly that specifically has some issues right now according to something y'all(devs) posted
However, i am literally on essentially the lowest possible settings (it looks so bad, haha) and yet im using 97% of my gpu, and 90+ constant percent of my ram. Now for context i can run (insert any graphically intensive game) and play just fine even in 4k. But i end up getting a solid.. 3..5..MAYBE 10 fps. And every rare moment in time i might get a relatively decent 30 fps when the DLSS decides to kick in (it doesnt only every like 5? ish min for a short while)
Ultimately i just wanted to post despite some parts of this being mentioned in discord. Its incredibly sad and obnoxious. I even waited for the hotfix before i posted this issue here now, but it did nothing, in fact, i feel like i somehow get even worse fps now. But either way. I'll attach setings and usage (i close every other application essentially) -

Opa Admin MergedThe last/first Hotfix got revoked because it caused too many new issues. There will be a new patch following in a few.
Could you provide us with a full rundown of your specs?
And are you for certain that you are currently playing on the "previousbuild" version kot the Hotfix one that caused too many issues? -

EdwinThe game doesnt feel smooth, also pretty ok machine.
I dont know how to upload a screenshot here, but got first 3 on Medium.
Then High for Object Texture Size and Ultra for Memory Budget (got 24 gigs of VRAM)
Vertical Sync on or Off doesnt make a different.
FSR on Quality, though funny, it preformes worse on Balanced.
75 FPS~ on Quality and then on the same scene standing still (start point, over the water), i get 68-72 with Balanced (which looks way worse, more grainy).
Difference in Balanced or Preformance is negatable in visuals and preformace gain.
Specs of the system:
Intel I5 13600K running @ 5.6 GHZ
Corsair 6000 MHZ DDR5
SSD Samsung 990 PRO 1TB
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX -

Razu MergedI am having the same issue, clocking around 8,000+ / 99% memory usage. I have pretty decent parts in my PC and can run every game other than this one. I waited about a month before trying again and its the same. Im really disappointed I cannot play this game since I got the key.

R MergedGame is running at 5/6 fps max, making it unplayable :( Only other application running is discord and fps tanked after exploring a run down site that had sunflowers around the building, close to the otiginal spawn point (second time playing, sorry idk more about the area!). I thought it might just be the area so I ran off and fps didn't improve. Tried quitting to main menu which didn't work and ran the animations at the same fps.

RayneThis game is very VRAM intensive at the moment since texture optimization has not happened yet. 1440p High/Ultra Texture Size/Quality is exceeding 12 GB of VRAM. Do not even *try* running 4K on an 8 GB GPU (eg the 3070 Ti mentioned by the OP), or anything less than 16 GB, really. 1440p, 12 GB minimum VRAM; less than that, 1080p. Do not use VSync if your monitor's default refresh rate is higher than the game's frame rate and said monitor does not support GSynch/FreeSync/VRR below the game's frame rate (yes, there is usually a minimum threshold for GSync/FreeSync/VRR support; it will vary by monitor). If your CPU power is lacking, reduce Shadows and Object View Distances as these hit the CPU harder. Nvidia GPUs esp. in the 4- and 5000 series are known to have CPU overhead issues, potentially causing bottlenecks on weaker systems. Intel ARC GPUs are even worse in this regard. Onboard GPUs that aren't at least Intel Iris or RDNA 2 will probably suffer dearly in this Alpha.
