Trees go invisible while chopping during winter

  Trees only disappear visually, they are still obtainable and choppable, this doesn't happen to palm trees.

  Trees disappear while I'm chopping them down when they're fully grown. But I can still knock those trees down.
  The picture I took here is right after I chop the first time. But I can still chop it down and get my wood out of it.

  If you use the pickaxe instead of the axe to try cutting down one of the trees with the weird bark, the top half of the tree disappears on the first hit. It's still there and you can still damage it, but you cannot see it. See attached screen captures.

  Does not give any wood either. Just hit the tree once and it reverts to a stump.
